Parents and Teachers-

The students in the class have been learning about the cost of living and the housing in the 16th century. People and events of the time such as: Pocahontas, William Penn, Mayflower Compact, and Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving.  The students have built their own version of the log cabins and housing of the Colonial Period. Ask how much did bread cost and other items, maybe the prices will Wow you compared to what we pay now.

Students-

Your assignment is the partner with another student and make a powerpoint presentation comparing then and now, i.e. housing, food, transportation, etc. Due April 13, 2009. Work hard over spring break.
